Breaking Dawn Part 2~ Renesmee First Look

Entertainment Weekly gives fans of The Twilight Saga a first look and Bella and Edward's wild child. Described to be the most beautiful child on the planet, Renesmee Cullen is being portrayed by 11 year old Mackenzie Foy and she definitely looks like she could actually be the child of both Bella and Edward.

Grey's Anatomy Recap

Last nights one hour Grey's Anatomy season 8 finally left fans across America PISSED OFF! Not only did one of the shows most beloved characters die (we'll miss you so much Lexie Grey) in the first 20 minutes but another fan favorite Teddy Altman found herself fired by the end of the night. What the flying f**k?!?!?!

Now a bunch of other stuff happened in last night's finale but nothing stood out more then the death of Lexie, the firing of Teddy, and not to mention by the end of the episode the plane crash victims (yup, plane crash victims) had yet to be found! AND by the looks of it Mark was barely hanging on and Arizona was coughing up blood, so the possibility of more death is in fact there. Oh and did I also forget to mention that the doctors back at Seattle Grace are completely unaware of the fact that half of their staff is missing! This has to be the unluckiest hospital staff in the world! Bombs blowing up, people getting mowed down by buses, friends getting cancer, guns to the head, car accidents, and now a plane crash too! When will their misery end?! By the end of the episode I was just angry and disappointed because the only doctor I wanted gone was Owen Hunt. He is a jerk, kind of psychotic, he fired Teddy, and his kisses are so gross!!!! The season 9 opener better be freaking amazing and feature a very much alive Arizona and Mark. Fix it Shonda Rhimes!!!

The New Normal

What I'm looking forward to tuning into this upcoming pilot season, The New Normal. From the creator of hits such as Nip/Tuck, Glee, and American Horror Story comes the new comedy about the new modern day family. The show centers around a recently single mother and her journey to not only make her dream of becoming a lawyer a reality but also finally turning herself into someone her daughter could be proud of. But how does a single mother with no money and a growing kid accomplish this? By giving a loving gay couple the chance to start a family of their very own and agreeing to be their surrogate.

My TV Recomendation

From the people who brought you Sex & The City, and Whitney Cummings (whom you may know from the Chelsea Lately round table), comes the new show about the modern working girl, 2 Broke Girls.

Set in a tiny neighborhood of Brooklyn, NYC, comes a comedy series where the biggest concern isn't where to get the latest fall fashions, but how their going to make rent the next month. The show follows two seemingly very different waitresses; Max (Kat Dennings) shes poor, raised in a single parent house hold, with a dry sense of humor, and Caroline (Beth Behrs) who was born rich, raised by a series of nannies hired by her con artist father, and is now penniless and homeless. Together these two girls are going to dig themselves out of their rut, and own their very own bakery, using Max's delicious cupcake recipes, and Carolines business education. Will they achieve their dreams, or is it all just going to be just another disappointment for these two already disappointed girls. Tune into CBS, every Monday to find out! Check your local listings.

I'm so glad, I own all of these on DVD already! Now I'm just sittin' here singing along to every song! I'm even  finding myself strangely optimistic! And to increase procrastination, I will also be watching all of the nearly 90 minute behind the scenes footage, every single movie offers too!

What's on Netflix?

Like almost everyone else in the U.S. I cancelled my Netflix subscription two months ago when they raised the prices. But when I found myself at home more often this month, especially a lot of downtime suffering with a toothache and cold, I decided to go ahead and get the $7.95 service just for my laptop. After all, what goes best while laying in bed with a throbbing tooth and painful headache than a good movie? I sit my laptop down next to me and have enjoyed some seriously good stuff that I either didn't catch while at the theater or even better, I am catching up with some of my most loved shows. This is what I have enjoyed this week:

 Breakfast at Tiffany's

Talk about a feel good movie. I had only watched bits and pieces of this movie and thought I would give it a peek a few days ago. OMG-Audrey Hepburn was so beautiful and in this movie she is so charming and witty and her apartment was so cute. It was funny and really made me forget that I was in so much discomfort.  I can't remember what happened that I only got through half but I want to finish it this weekend.

Case 39

Case 39 was new to me, I had never even heard of this movie but loved the premise so I sat and watched this in one sitting. What a great suspenseful movie it is! I love that it was not too scary though very suspenseful. Renee Zellweger does a very good job at being the temporary mom to a girl that is not what she seems. Because she is a good actress it made the film good and didn't let it go all cheesy the way so many horror movies do.

The Housemaid

The Housemaid looked really interesting and once I read the reviews which were all glowing I decided to watch it even if it was just subtitles. The first few minutes were slow but once the movie kept going it got so good I forgot I was reading. The home and scenes in the movie are stunning and soon you are taken away into this glamorous household where the housemaid works, you see her suffer through some really awful stuff only to die a horrible death. The actors are all amazingly gorgeous and so good with this script. It wasn't just a good looking movie and cast though, the story was good and very well acted. This is one I will want to watch again very soon!

So these are just a few of my Netflix movies for the week. The weekend is ahead of me and I will probably be watching a few more things over these two days. What are you watching on Netflix or do you have some recommendations for me??

What New Fall TV Show Am I Most Excited For?

New Girl, starring the incredibly charming Zooey Deschanel premiering on September 20th following the season 3 premiere of Glee on Fox.

Fresh off her rather disastrous break up with a cheating ex, Jessica "Jess" Day (Deschanel) is in need of a new place to live and finds that place with three men sharing a loft. She's a little heart broken, like most people would be after a break up, and with the help of her three new roommates and her model friend Cece, Jess learns about life, love and herself while navigating her way through the dating scene.

I'm really excited about this show, it looks funny, cute, airs right after Glee (which is a show I love!), and stars Zooey Deschanel. What more could I ask for?

I Loved This Show!

Arrested Development Cast

Arrested Development

Ahh, if you were ever looking for a family sitcom that could make you feel so good about yourself and your loved ones this was always the one to watch... since you could look at them and say "Hey, my family nowhere near as messed up as theirs is!" It's true, because if you were looking for that doting mom, proud father, perfect big brother, and caring sister, you would not find them here.

The Bluth's & The Funke's

There's the embezzling jail bird father, George Bluth Sr.

The alcoholic and love withholding mother, Lucille Bluth.

The idiot older brother and magician wannabe, George "Gob" Bluth II.

The spoiled and neglectful sister, Lindsay Bluth Funke.

The moronic brother-in-law, Dr. Tobias Funke.

The panic attack plagued mama's boy younger brother, Bryon "Buster" Bluth.

The lazy and rebellious niece, Mae "Maeby" Funke.

The son trying to make his father proud, George Michael Bluth.

And the one who tries to keep them all together, Michael Bluth.

Yes, their were a bunch of them, and all with their own list about a mile long of flaws. But we loved them regardless. From their scheming ways, horrendous chicken impersonations, insest love, stair car, horrendous model home, and the buckets of blood that made everyone do a double take. They only lasted three seasons, but they were always at their best or should I say worst, during those seasons. They were the Bluth's and they were perfect.

The 2011 MTV Video Music Award's

Adele, is a Goddess! I swear she hung the moon and the stars herself. Her voice is incredible, and live was even better.

Adele performing Someone Like You at 2011 MTV Video Music Award's

The VMA's were honestly a freaking joke this year, and the fact that this amazing lady walked away without an award is ridiculous. BUT it's not like the VMA's have ever been the kind to really award good music, all they care about is current "music" like hip-hop and rap. How that stuff passes for music, I will  never know. Bruno Mar's should have walked away with an award too but no, Justin Bieber. Was it just me, or did even Kim Kardashian seem surprised by that? I've always kind of hated Kanye West as a person, since he seems like a total douche, though I have liked a few of his songs, BUT that "performance" with Jay-Z was HORRIBLE! I couldn't even tell who they were. Just because they are Jay-Z and Kanye West, they think everyone will love anything that comes out of their mouths, but that is so NOT true. Lady Gaga, I love her. I really do, I'm not a fan when she get's all preachy like, but I do like her music. I was excited when I heard she was performing, I assumed it would be 'On The Edge Of Glory', and I love that song, so I was really disappointed with her performance. What was that song?! I did kind if like the get up she wore, and she stayed in it all night long, HA! But I can do without all these artists having alter-egos. It's so tiring. Katy Perry won video of the year! Yay! I love Firework, I have since the very beginning. I love it's message, I love it's lyrics, and O-M-G the video is gorgeous. I'm so thrilled it won. All in all, I was extremely let down, but what else should I expect from the MTV VMA's?

Pointless Post: Movies & TV

If you've read past posts in this blog, you've probably gathered that I'm a really big movie fanatic. I love watching them, their fun, and you basically just get to escape to this other place when watching them. There are so many movies coming out in theaters that I'm just dying to see.

My Idiot Brother, starring Zooey Deschanel, Paul Rudd (who I've loved, ever since Clueless), and Emily Banks. Most people I know or even most of my family members would probably rather die then watch a movie like that, but I kind of love them. Zooey Deschanel, is someone who I've become a huge fan of too, I've been wanting to see 500 Days Of Summer, but still haven't because I have to be considerate of what my family and friends want to watch too, and they don't like those movies. Crazy Stupid  Love, I want to see that, first of all because I love Steve Carel but also because Emma Stone. She's really making quite an impression. She's doing so much, and she has the perfect comedic timing. Plus it's nice when there are pretty actresses like her, who are willing to do something so completely embarrassing for a laugh. Anne Hathaway, is another great example. I've loved her ever since The Princess Diaries. Plus there's also all those funny comedians who aren't so new to the game like Tina Fey and Amy Pholer. Baby Mama, was hysterical! Cloris Leachman, who plays a demented old granny in Raising Hope. And if your immune to the powers of Betty White, I salute you. Shes just too damn adorable.

Period piece movies, I kind of like. Pride and Prejudice is like a really big guilty pressure of mine. I don't even know why but I watch it whenever it's on. Horror films, are not exactly my favorites. I can watch them at home but never in the theater, there too loud. Sci-Fy depends on the type and I hate Super Hero movies. The only ones I've liked were The Dark Night and Watchmen.

Television, is another thing entirely. I only watch a select few of channels, and a select few of shows on each channel  I'm big on entertainment news programs, my favorites being E! News and TMZ. I'm a fan of BRAVO although not as much as my mother. I watch all the big networks, but I'm really starting to think there just running out of ideas for shows. Their remaking everything, I mean first Beverly Hills 90210, Witches of Eastwick, Dallas, Charlies Angels, and now Bewitched. They really just need to come up with their own ideas and stop reusing old material. No ones all that creative anymore.

When I was younger, like thirteen, I went through this awful stage where I love soap operas. Days Of Our Lives and Passions were my favorite. Now whenever I see clips of them all I can think is what terrible actors they all are. Their either over acting, or have these horrible voices they use, or just have terrible writing. I have no idea what I saw in them.

HBO, I loved HBO! Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, and Big Love are some of the best shows I've ever seen. I still to this day watch Sex and the City, on E!. Big Love, was also kind of a phase, when I just became fascinated with polygamy, again I don't even know why. I think I was just a weird kid.

Our Newest Disney Princess!

Okay, so I know I'm seriously late in the game, but I finally saw Tangled...

It may have just been one of the cutest movies I've ever seen. I honestly thought Rapunzel, would in no way be able to compete with the classic Disney princesses like Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, and Jasmine, but she definitely fits in with all those girls. I was a little skeptical when I heard that Mandy Moore would be voicing the character, since we all know that Mandy Moore has done her share of flops, but her voice fit in so well. It honestly made the character more innocent, and she really did put allot of emotion into her voice. I honestly think my favorite part of the whole movie though was right after Rapunzel leaves the tower and she has all the conflicting emotions about how she was a terrible daughter and how she never wanted to go back. I cracked up, that was honesty just so perfect. The leading man wasn't some prefect Prince Charming either, he was arrogant, and a little off putting at first, with a good heart. All in all, I really loved pretty much everything about this film, and Rapunzel is very much one of my favorite Disney princesses now.

~New Year's Eve~

Wow! Now that is an all star cast. I remember Valentines Day having a huge cast filled with a few A-listers but mostly B-listers, being released not that long ago. I also remember it getting bad reviews, it was basically just another cheesy romantic comedy. But considering the cast of this film which seems to be mostly A-list big wigs I'm hoping it's not so bad. I mean if it attracted Halle Berry, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pheiffer, Josh Duhamel, Sofia Veragara, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank, Julie Andrews, Lea Michele, Zac Efron, and so many MANY more, it can't be that bad, right?

Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Keeping Up With The Kardashians, has been a constant in my home since the show first started airing in 2007. At first I kind of thought the girls were just more heiress party girls, like Paris Hilton or Nichole Richie but after watching five seasons and now moving into their sixth, I honestly think these girls are some of the best role models for younger girls. Sure one of the only reasons they became famous was because Kim had a sex tape released but what she does in her private love life is no one else's concern, she didn't release it, but she did take advantage and made her self something off of it. What else could she do, the damage had been done?! The media found out what they could during her initial 15 minutes of fame, found out about their father being the lawyer on the O.J Simpson trial, found out their stepfather was an Olympic gold medalist, and found out she had two crazy sisters and the E! network, turned them into something huge. They are some of the most recognizable media figures today. I even think they've matured some through the show, in the beginning they did kind of just seem like dumb party girls, but I wouldn't call turning themselves into a brand, dumb. It was smart, and now their on everything. Their making the most of their time at the top, by coming out with  as many products as possible, and airing all their personal drama for the world to see on t.v every Sunday on the E! network. There are two things I dislike about the show, and one would be mama Kris Jenner...

Am I the only person who watches this, and just wonders how not only is she still married but why don't Khloe and Kourtney hate her?! I mean she obviously favors Kim above her other children, she even got a face lift just for Kim's wedding, why not for Khloe's? It may not even be that she favors Kim, she just prefers the kid who brings in the most cash. Also she is horrible to her husband, she treats him like an assistant, and after watchign that last episode where she said she wanted to change her last name back to Kardashian, I mean WOW, that was the most insensitive thing anyone could have done. I mean she divorced her first husband and remarried, she has no claim to the Kardashian name anymore. And to find out Bruce wasn't even in the family hall of pictures and he had no pictures in her office like her first husband does, how messed up is that?! This is one of the few reasons that, despite her brash and sometimes crude behavior, I really like Khloe. She pointed all that out to her mother, and voices what most people would never say to their mother. She called her a groupie, which is what Kris seems to be. I can be fair and say that the girls probably wouldn't have their empire without her though. The second thing I dislike, Robert Kardashian...

That boy is just plain lazy, all he does is live off of his sisters. I honestly can't even believe Khloe gives him an allowance. But I guess, why does he need to be driven at all, when he can just live off his family name. Jeez! Someone needs to smack some sense into that boy!

Despite a lazy brother and sometimes unfair mother, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, has and still is one of my favorite reality shows. I can always tune into whenever I need a good laugh since these girls always seem like they are up to something nuts. You gotta love them!
