It's Hailing and I am staying in.

It's Saturday morning and it's been raining non stop since late yesterday, temperatures have dropped to below 30 and it's freezing. We live in a small very cozy home that I really love, BUT and this is a pretty big but, the house is over 100 years old and has no heating. Besides a few room heaters there is no other type of heating so waking up on such a chilly day is really hard. It's so cold that instead of rain its been hailing all morning, fine little bits of ice have been falling and I have been laying here listening to the pitter patter of them hitting my bedroom window and door. I actually love the sound of it and have been enjoying it.

Again I spent the week looking for work and going out almost daily to leave new applications, not that I think I will get a job near this town. But it doesn't hurt to try and I am willing to spend the time getting those apps filled out. At least it's been getting me out of the house and made the week go by so fast. But today I am staying home, I just put on the tea kettle and am going to make a yummy hot cocoa with extra marshmallows. I will pair that with some toast and sit here and catch up on following people back. I only got to do half the blogs on Monday and need to finish up. I love all the blogs that I am finding and I will catch myself spending a lot of time reading and getting to know other bloggers. I am having a lot of fun and I think its a great way to socialize without having to leave your house. And on a day like this, leaving is the last thing I want to do, I am going to sit here and enjoy my time off and find more new blogs!
Cheers friends, I hope you all are having a wonderful day.

Road Trip Blues....

I am finally home! I have been on a road trip, but not a fun travel with gal pals kinda road trip. I went on a looking for employment road trip. I had been working from home for a while but it's time to get back to the grind of daily work because with that daily job comes a paycheck and right now that is what I need. I need to earn more money, so looking for a job was in order. A week ago I packed up my bags and my very well planned out agenda and headed for the road.

The first days went okay and I actually enjoyed it, being out on the open road and getting to stop by different cafes and restaurants was really cool. I really enjoy finding new places and seeing new cities but after about 5 days it began to wear and I realized I would have taken my camera so I could have documented the entire trip. That probably would have been really fun for the blog, posting my daily stops.

But since I am very new to this whole blogging deal I never even thought about it till almost the end of my trip. By then I was so tired and ready to just get home and sleep in my very own bed. So I got home last night and got a full 9 hours sleep and now I want to catch up with my blog and my hopping. I still don't know how my interviews went so I won't know for a while when and if I will be working soon so for now I have time to work on it a lot. I also want to catch some TV watching up or maybe a movie!

I missed my house and I missed my safe haven, this room where I spent most of my time.Glad to be home friends.... and I look forward to posting more often this week.

I am craving...........

Chinese food.....

So there is this fantastic little chinese food restaurant about 35 minutes away from here. They make the best Chow Mein and Orange Chicken.... orange chicken is my favorite food ever and I swear I could have it every single day of my life. The one this place makes is just the best.
So I am wondering what my boyfriend is going to take me to eat on Monday and I really hope he has enough sense to realize that this is my favorite place and my favorite food.
We've never driven up there during the week, we usually only go on weekends. But how I would love to do for dinner, maybe even lunch. The problem now is....that I am craving orange chicken now and there is no where nearby to get it, besides it's almost midnight.

CRAVING.......

Relaxing.........................

Relaxing......................... that's what I am going to do this whole weekend!
I swear this week was so incredibly crazy, there was so much work to do and I never even had a chance to break out the remote control. I managed to get some tweets in for a few giveaways but other than that, did not get a chance to enter any new ones.

So that is the kind of relaxing that I plan to do this weekend. I want to grab the remote, find a mind numbing TV show like The Real Housewives or maybe one of the really corny lifetime movies and while I half watch I want to blog hop and enter giveaways. A lot of the Valentine giveaways are ending this week and I want to get as many entries in as I can.

I did win an INCREDIBLE and I mean INCREDIBLE giveaway this week and I will share that with you this weekend. It was my only win of the week but it is a doozy and I am completely excited waiting for it to arrive.
(please let it get here soon)
