LOL

This is why I don't ever want to have kids of my own, much less two of them.

Spring Break Vacation!

I've decided this upcomming Spring Break that I should take a little vacation. I was thinking of staying in a place like this...

AMAZING!

Far away from civilization and the inside is just as lovely...

let's dance by the fireplace!

Cozy isn't it? Where do all of you plan to be for your upcoming spring break?

Calgon...take me away...

December is by far my busiest month and right now I feel like I am being pulled in a zillion different directions. Not only am I not done with the holiday shopping, I almost have the kids covered but still need some of the grown ups. I also have end-of-the-year eye, check ups and dentists appointments to take care of. These are the very same appointments that I was supposed to take care of since October. You know, the ones that you put on your to-do-list and slowly they get pushed further and further back till you realize you have less than 4 weeks till the year ends? Well now it's all hit me in the face and I do have less than 4 weeks to get it all done, while at the same time I have so many other things to do.

If I can make it to the new year and actually get all these things crossed off my list, I am going to have to buy myself a nice present. A very much deserved present...I may add.

Thanksgiving Has Passed, Up Next Christmas!

The holiday that's all about giving, and receiving if you're still a kid, is coming! Yay! And while the lines in the stores may be too much to deal with, and every where in the world is just too over crowded, I'm still looking forward to everything. My trees already up and everything, not to mention there are already a whole mess of presents under there. One of my favorite things about Christmas though, the Christmas carols/music! My top 5 favorite Christmas classics...

1.Baby It's Cold Outside
2.Silent Night
3.All I Want For Christmas
4.Santa Baby
5.Little Drummer Boy

All just perfect to get me in the holiday spirit. I really like wrapping the gifts too, and picking them out. I am the only person in our family, besides my mother, who knows what every gift under the Christmas tree is. No one besides us can know, cause then they'll tell everyone else what they got. Example, last year my mother and my niece, nephew, and baby sister all chose out a gift for me at Build A Bear Workshop. When I asked what they got me, it took all of 5 seconds before they could tell me, I got a mouse (keep in mind, I didn't know it was from Build A Bear), and I accusing them of lying. The answer never changed, and on Christmas morning imagine my surprise when I opened up my gift, and found a holiday mouse named Cheesy Jack. I was shocked, they had been telling the truth the entire time! I probably shouldn't have asked so many times, but I was curious. Everyone's curious about what they get for presents, so don't judge me. Anyway's I am not good about my own gifts, but I can keep everyone else s gift a secret. ;-)

Does anyone else have their Christmas tree up yet, and if so got any gifts down there?

Turkey Day is Nearly Here!

Yay! My absolute favorite holiday, is just one day away! For some it's Christmas, for others it's their own birthday, for me, it's the day I eat to eat as much turkey as I want. Dinner is normally made by me, one of my sisters, and my step day and it takes all day, but I'd cook all day if it meant I was going to get a turkey at the end of it everyday if I could. For dinner

~Menu~

Turkey
Chicken Flavored Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy
Salad w/Italian Dressing
Hawaiian Bread
French Bread
Yams w/Brown Sugar
Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake

~Drinks~
Sparkling Cider
Capri Suns
Coca-Cola

I know most families do cranberry sauce, pumpkin pies, and other things; but we're a family of picky eaters and not very traditional anyway, so this works for us. We also don't really watch football either, there are very few men in our family, but even they are more interested in soccer then anything else. Ahh, and the following black Friday, we don't d that either.  None of us are too keen on being in crowded stores, and we all rather sleep in then wait outdoors in a long line. Not to mention, all the horrible accidents that happen on black Friday that we've seen on the news in the past; people getting trampled on, fights breaking out, guns in Toys R' Us. Uh Uh, No Me Gusta! Aside from all that drama and trauma though, I am super excited!  Have a Happy Turkey Day Everyone!

I Want A Tattoo

I want a tattoo! I've always loved tattoo's, especially when their properly done on others, by professionals. I've always wanted to get one too, but I want it to mean something, and I only want one. It would have to be symbolic, I absolutely loath tattoo's of boyfriends/girlfriends names. Like really REALLY loath them. So many of my family and friends have all these horrible meaningless tattoo's and their just so ugly and they all regret them, I don't want to regret my tattoo. I know it's going to be a painful process getting one, so I am not at all interested in getting one and trying to remove it later. I also want it small, and easily hidden because tattoo's are not really helpful when it comes to getting a job, and I personally think if I'm getting a tattoo that is supposed to have meaning, it's unnecessary for a total stranger to see it. When I was younger I wanted a small but cute skull, because me and my mother both had this tiny fixation with skulls, but now that I'm older I kind of want a musical note. I love music, ask everyone I know. They will all tell you music is my life, my Mp3 is always with me, and I'm always looking up some other new artist. I need music, like I need air. It's just how it is for me, so I've considered tattoo's similar to these...

Maybe not behind my ear, but somewhere else like on my wrist.
Or...

A music note, and a couple of stars, I really like stars and again love the musical notes.

What do you think of the tattoo's, and if you don't have any already would you consider getting one and what would you like it to be?

Turkey Feast ...

I can't believe Thanksgiving is only  a few weeks away.  Last year was the first time I ever made my own turkey feast and this year I would love to make it even bigger and better! I've been scouring the net looking for new recipes to try out. I am especially worried about the Turkey because last years was just a little bit dry, so I need to find the secret to a moist and juicy bird.

What are your tips and tricks for making your turkey just right?

Paint It RED...

Red lipstick has been my signature lip color since I was about 15. It's a color that really gives a pop of wow and can give even the most unwashed face some pizzazz, but at the same time not everyone can pull of a sexy red pout. Here are a few celebrities that I think look amazing with red lips!

Gwen Stefani - 25 Stars in Red Lipstick - Red Lips

Of course miss Gwen Stefani can rock the red. She looks amazing in it, especially in her new L’Oreal Paris campaigns where you can see her really show the red off.

Jennifer Lopez - 25 Stars in Red Lipstick - Red Lips
Jennifer Lopez also always looks great in red.

Kim Kardashian looks good in just about any color but the reds really bring out her hair and dark eyes and give her that sexy goddess look.

Penelope Cruz also looks stunning in red.

Dita Von Teese showing us how to make that red color really look good. Dita is the epitome of a sexy brunette that can rock the red.

I love Anne Hathaway and think she is a true beauty. She has the best skin, smile and hair and looks so elegant in red.

And of course I can not leave out miss Katy Perry who would look amazing with a mop over her head and purple lipstick. Katy makes red look good!

Freaky Weather and More...

Triple digit weather has has California under it's grips for a few weeks now. Temperatures so high that residents have been under constant warnings to stay indoors or find cooling centers. I have been home most of the time and running ac's and cooler almost the entire day. I already know that my bill is going to be way over 100 dollars next month!

Thursday Sept 81 2011 over 5 million homes and business were left with no power anywhere from 9 hours to 14. This is a picture of downtown San Diego during the back out. The black out affected Orange County all the way South to Ensenada and as far east as Arizona. The San Diego airport was closed down as were the trolleys and it was just chaos. Schools in the entire San Diego area plus some in Orange County were closed down on Friday. I imagine this was a lot of fun for kids, but for us adults it was a bit scary and makes us realize just how dependent we are on electricity.

On September 10th the South land then woke up to lighting, hail as big as jawbreakers and storms so severe that they caused flash flooding and fires.

Yesterday and today we have finally had a cool down where I live and are currently at 89 degrees. I hope we can stay like this for a while and hope that the freaky stuff is all over with. Usually living in California is a bit of a dream, with great weather and no problems, but these last weeks have been really strange.

New Breaking Dawn Posters...

Okay Twi-hards, here they are. Two brand new Breaking Dawn posters have just been revealed!

breaking-dawn-poster-2.jpg

I've read all the books and somehow missed the last movie but I do want to see Breaking Dawn. I look forward to the wedding, I can not wait to see how Bella will look in her wedding dress.

breaking-dawn-poster-1.jpg

Can't wait for the release! I want to see these two married once and for all. They really do belong together and as cute as Jacob is, Bella and Edward are soul mates and no one can ever come between them.
