At a rally meant to protest homosexuality by the 'God hates Fags' Westboro Baptist church, which is run by whats considered the "most hated family in the America" the Phelps, one 9 year old Josef decided to make his own anti protest with his own sign. Simply stating "GOD HATES NO ONE".
“I have never been prouder. Those people are scary but he stood strong, was respectful and stood by his convictions. He will be a good man, I have no doubt. I got my Mothers Day present early.”
-Ms. Akrouche (Josef's mother)

President Barack Obama, has official stated that he supports the right for all people, gay or straight to marry. This comes just after North Carolina passed a ban on gay marriage in their state.
"At root, so much of this has to do with a belief that not only are we all in this together but all of us are equal in terms of dignity and in terms of respect, and everybody deserves a shot," - President Obama
Get with it North Carolina, Obama says it's okay to be gay!

Okay, so some people may find this video really offensive but I swear it's all for a good reason. Time for some straight talk on a not so straight cause.
WARNING: There is A LOT of swearing in this video, and by kids too!

Now that gay marriage is legal in New York, last Sunday over 800 weddings were performed for gays and lesbians from all over. It was a day full of love and acceptance for the men and women who in most states of the U.S, still to this day are not able to legally wed the ones they love. Some are saying that the fact that New York has officially legalized gay marriage, that the only logical step would be for California to allow gay marriage next. Personally though, I think we still may have quite a battle up ahead for that. Gay marriage was legal in California just last year, but enough people were opposed to it, that the law got overturned. If that was just last year, I highly doubt the opposed party will let it happen so easily. I do wish that it becomes legal here in California soon though, because then maybe if California and New York allows it, the rest of the U.S may just fall in line. Typically I'm all about marching to the beat of your own drum, and not being one of the sheep, but that would definitely be one heard I'd have no problem following.
This commercial may just be one of the most amazing I have ever seen. It sends an amazing message in the most incredible way, from real people. Google Chrome has joined the It Get's Better Project, a campaign created to help teens in the LGBT community see that a happy future is a reality for them, they just need to stick around long enough for it to happen. The website allows you to hear their stories, watch videos, and take the It Gets Better Project Pledge. To learn more or follow this campaign visit their Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
